Bull Run Stables is a modern, family owned and operated facility on 40 acres in western Fairfax County. Opened as boarding stables during 1990, it is today devoted primarily to teaching English riding with a concentration on dressage.

Lessons are available for those 8 years of age and older. Lessons are taught in a 17,000 square-foot indoor arena with sand and rubber footing which is moistened by a misting system to eliminate dust.

Limited field board is available. Horses are tacked for lessons in a stable which contains a hot-water wash stall and 12x12 box stalls with rubber mats. Turnout for all horses is on 30 acres of well maintained pastures with run-in sheds and self-waterers in which heating elements ensure fresh water throughout the year. Hay is provided in the pastures when grazing is inadequate. Fencing is virtually all vinyl over high-tension wire. Mares and geldings are separated and all horses are moved individually.

While lessons have priority in the indoor arena, a stadium lit outdoor arena is always available.
